In-Store Printing
Episys and their partner, Lexmark, have collaborated to help store staff print less and spend more time with customers. Popular Episys Retail Enterprise Suite™ signage print functions such as Batch and Ad Hoc signs can be accessed and released from a Lexmark Multi Function Printer (MFP) through a simple user interface on the printer’s touch screen without the need for a separate computer. This enables any authorized store staff member to use without any specialized IT training as follows:
- Simple Click on the “Episys Retail Enterprise Suite™” Signage application icon from the Lexmark MFP touch screen.
- MFP interrogates the Episys Enterprise Server to retrieve the latest batch of signage to.
- “Print on Demand” where it is required in the store.
Scalable Solutions
To help make the solution easy to implement, the solution runs on Lexmark's embedded solutions framework (eSF), which means it is easily scalable to meet the needs of small or large retail environments, without the expense of additional servers.
