Today’s business highlights the need for the tight delivery of projects and the need for positive benefits, which are often the very drivers for a project. In order to identify solutions and potential benefits, Episys has developed a portfolio of consulting skills. From the outset, Episys works with clients and prospects to understand:
  • Their issues
  • Their business
  • The timescale for required solutions
  • How to implement the agreed solution
Episys has worked with clients following their own internal approval process, giving consultancy advice on business efficiency as well as potential Episys solutions.
 
The Episys Professional Services team is involved during the pre-sales phase in order to understand how the project will need to be delivered, who will be involved, the precise delivery mechanism, what the project risks are and how all of these aspects will be documented. This stage also includes project planning and project reporting and is formally agreed with the client at the formal start of the project. The signed documentation controls the project delivery.
 
During the life of the project, the Episys project manager works closely with the Episys account managers to ensure tight and successful project delivery. The methodology will involve weekly reviews to monitor progress supported by formal reporting.
 
The delivery stage involves the Episys team working closely with the client, including training in the application and making sure that expectations are clear and deliveries are on time.
 
The client is expected to work closely with Episys in the acceptance phase of their project. Episys will execute testing to achieve the acceptance standards agreed in initial stages and this is usually undertaken at both the Episys site and, in the final stages, at the client’s site. This is not undertaken instead of client testing but as an additional quality process as part of the Episys delivery mechanism.
 
After acceptance, Episys offers continued support through the Client Service Desk, throughout the lifetime of the delivered solution.
