Ultimate™ Gold is a fully featured label design and printing solution that puts you in complete control of your label production.

 

Fixed text can be put into a design and automatically sized to fit within a defined area. Barcodes, graphics and objects can be placed on the design and resized and rotated. A Print Manager can be invoked to optimize the efficiency and accuracy of label printing tasks complete with a Print Preview function. Ultimate™ can print to a wide variety of printing devices and does not require labels to be defined for a specific printer.

 

Ultimate™ is Unicode compliant fully supporting the utilization of foreign language character sets including French, Italian, German, Russian, Arabic, Chinese and Japanese. Foreign language text can be imported from external databases, edited and even mixed within a text area.

 

Data held externally in almost any database can be linked to Ultimate™ (ODBC/ADO) allowing real-time data from a wide variety of sources to be easily integrated for label design and production.

 

Integration with corporate data can be of great benefit in the deployment of mobile applications where we want to make live data available to workers at the point of need whether it is goods in, the warehouse, dispatch, or wherever.

 

Business Process Automation is a key component of Ultimate™ that can be used to automate manual business processes which can be event driven. Ultimate™ can take data from any number of data sources and apply workflow management in applications such as ensuring labels go through the correct approval process before being output to label printers.

 

Business Process Automation can also be used to download data from operational systems such as product data from an ERP system or patient data from a Patient Administration System to ensure all necessary and up-to-date information is automatically included on the labels.

 

Integration of the Ultimate™ labeling system within the organization can be enabled by using Ultimate's web-based interface whereby the labeling system can be accessed from multiple locations without requiring any software at these locations except for a web browser.
