Electronic Signage
Retail Enterprise Suite™ can drive electronic signage such as the ZBD Electronic Point of Purchase signs (pictured above) or the UPM Ella Electronic Paper signs (pictured below) to provide instantaneous changes to the displays. Updates can be specific to a store, a region or even a specific time of day depending on shopping patterns and local store requirements.
The system can also drive multimedia devices such as plasma TVs to highlight store events and special promotions and again enable rapid change to the content. These multimedia signs could be especially useful at store entrances to replace the expensive large posters that retailers display to promote a particular product or store event. In addition, the electronic signs can display multiple products and events, and at different times of the day.
What this means is that the system can automatically produce the right message, in the right media, in the right store showing the right price at the right time without any labor required from store associates to put up and take down signs.
