HyperCITY selects new in-store signage

HyperCITY has selected a new signage system to manage all its in-store signage requirements and ensure effective promotional activity communication.

The Retail Enterprise Suite from specialist global provider, Episys will deliver the Mumbai, India-based upmarket grocery and general merchandise retailer a raft of benefits including greater consistency of pricing and promotional messages, improved labour efficiency and smoother handling of customer sales.

Speed to market demands flexible signage solution

Veneeth Purushotaman, HyperCITY head of technology said: "We operate a big-box hypermarket format, with a constant flow of active promotions, and it's crucial that these are communicated effectively. We identified a requirement for a signage solution that could manage all the possible kinds of signage required in a hypermarket. As a growing business, we needed a solution that has the scalability and flexibility to expand with us."

HyperCITY currently operates four stores, and has expansion plans for a further two stores by the end of financial year.

Proof in multiple, global deployments

HyperCITY cited the flexibility of the Episys system as a key factor in the selection process, as they needed a solution that can interface with other databases to pull in relevant data. The company also liked the fact that Episys provides a ‘one-stop-shop for signage,' printing all the signage required, including shelf-edge labels, and that the solution was very user friendly.
