Episys teams with HOLDiT to improve in-store communications
Episys, the global information technology services company, has partnered with HOLDiT, the South African market leaders in labelling solutions, to deliver integrated signage solutions to the retail industry.
Episys is working with HOLDiT as part of its global partner programme, and the partnership will help South African retailers display up-to-date pricing and promotional signage in-store. The partners will provide a complete retail solution that will manage the information that flows from Head Office to the customer.
Di Woodley, executive director of HOLDiT, explains: "We deal with a range of retailers in South Africa and we are always looking for new technologies to enable retailers to communicate better, quicker and more accurately with their customers. Accurate signage is vital to a store’s reputation and customer retention, and getting it wrong can be costly."
Episys Retail Enterprise Suite is widely used by retailers internationally and helps them to gain increased sales, reduced costs and improved operational efficiency. The out-of-the-box configurable solution combines precise promotional messaging and signage with mobile applications. The solution will guarantee consistency of message and accuracy of information delivered in a timely and efficient manner independent of the final output method.
Peter Lewis, marketing director at Episys, says, "We are delighted to be working with HOLDiT, the partnership of the two companies will deliver a strong solution to retailers. We look forward to the exciting developments the business has for the future."
Clients, which include Home Depot, Macy’s, Sainsbury’s, Marks & Spencer, Waitrose and Sears Holdings, are able to drive content from a single source to all types of output media including paper, handheld mobile devices, electronic signage, plasma screens and web pages. This ensures the integrity, accuracy and quality of a retailer's promotional message and eliminates data redundancy.
